Plastic Pail - 24L

Designed for primary fermention. Ferment beer, wine, cider, mead, etc in these pails. These are one of the most essentintial pieces of equipment for all fermentations. We recommend fermenting 20L maximum in this pail. 

We prefer to use these pails as bottling buckets. The lid on this unit does not have a gasket, which means it does seal as well as the 27L pail lids Thus, air can sometimes leak during fermentation. 

This is especially important for beer fermentations which require a very tight seal to prevent oxidization. 

A hole can be drilled near the bottom of the pail to accomodate a bottling spigot. This makes bottling so much easier!

Lids are sold separately.
