Briess Golden Light LME is a great base for just about any beer. Typically two containers will provide enough fermentable sugar for 5 or 6 gallon batches. The lovibond for Golden light is 4°.
Can be stored at room temperature for up to 18 months.
Briess and Liquid Malt Extract:
The best part about using Briess LME is that it is the only vertically integrated malting company in North America. Briess uses their own grains to produce their own high quality extract. This leads to good beers and long storage conditions.
Liquid Malt Extract (LME) is a very useful ingredient in home brewing. LME can be used to boost low gravity all grain beers during the boil. LME can be used to form the base of extract beers.
LME is made from mashing and dehydrating beer grains. We recommend first time homebrewers attempt to make a beer from extract first before moving onto all grain. Give us a shout, we would be more than happy to get you set up!
