Carafa Type 1 Dehusked is unique in that it adds substantial colour to any beer, but does not impart the harsh flavours and astrigency of typical dark-coloured grain. It produces a rich colour, body, aroma and flavour without the bitterness. We love to use this to make dark lagers, or to add a dash of colour to a lighter beer.
