Like French oak, American oak contributes aromas, flavour, and tannins to wine. American oak chips are punchier and bigger than French oak. You tend to get more intense flavours. We like to blend both American and French oak in our wines!
This is the Light Toasted style of oak chips that promotes sublte oak character and softer tannins.
