Pinot Noir is one of our smoothest reds. Traditionally, Pinot Noir is known for being a lighter coloured and bodied wine. Our Pinot juice strays a bit from that description, in that it is quite dark - yet still a lighter bodied wine. Notes of plum, light cherry feature strongly in the finished product. We find that it is quite drinkable within two months of fermentation, but it will peak around 12-18 months. Scroll down to learn more.

Typically a cooler climate red, Pinot Noir has been traced all the way back to the Roman era. These tightly clustered dark purple pinecone-shaped bunches of thick-skinned grapes are not easily grown and are commonly affected by nearly every affliction known to vines.
