For the first time in years we are brining in a limited selection of high quality apple cider from our friends at Bennetts Apples!
This is freshly pressed apple cider made from a special selection of Marshal Mackintosh, Courtland, and Northern Spy apples. This blend has been tweaked and honed for years by the good people at Bennett's and it is ideal for the production of hard apple cider. It is designed to have a great balance of sugars and acid. Typically the original gravity is around the 1.045-60 mark.
The cider is flash pasteurized and pitch ready. There is no need to add sulphites or to further pasteurize it. Simply pour the cider into a fermentation container and add your preferred yeast.
We are packaging the cider in our 11L (2.9 Gallon) plastic canisters. The cider will be available to pick up starting on October 29th. It is extremely fresh, and it is best if it is picked up within a few days of its arrival here.
Each 11L canister is $25 with no tax - we have a limited quantity available.
